BYD software differs by market, model year and head-unit build. An article can be correct on the car it was written on and wrong on yours — that is not a failure of the report, it is the useful part. Both outcomes get published.

What to include

The three things that decide whether we can act on a report:

  • Model, model year and market — "Sealion 7, 2025, Morocco".
  • Head-unit software version — Settings › System › Version, the long number such as 51.1.4.2606220.1.
  • What you did and what happened, rather than what you concluded from it.

Screenshots help. Please remove your number plate, VIN and any account details first.

What happens next

A confirmed error is fixed in place, with a dated line in the article's changelog saying what changed and why. Articles are never quietly edited. If your report adds a configuration we had not tested, it goes into the tested-on block and you are credited unless you would rather not be.
